Paul R. Ash, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Ash received his M.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center in 1971. He received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 1972. He did his residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center from 1972 – 1976. He is Board Certified in Neurology as well as Vascular Neurology. Dr. Ash has been practicing neurology in this area since 1976. Dr. Ash and his wife, a professor and department vice-chair at OHSU, live in Lake Oswego and have two children. Dr. Ash is the Medical Director of Stroke for Legacy Health.

Notice:

Beginning September 1, 2013, Dr. Ash will limit his practice to hospital work (neurohospitalist) at Meridian Park, as well as the Medical Director of Stroke for the Legacy Health system. He will no longer see outpatient (office) patients. His outpatient practice is largely being assumed by Dr. Egan, with the potential availability of any Oregon Neurology physicians.

Emma R. Burbank, M.D.

Dr. Burbank graduated from University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2007. She completed her neurology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in 2011 and completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Utah in 2012. She is Board Certified in Neurology. Dr. Burbank joined Oregon Neurology in 2012. She enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time outdoors.

Robert A. Egan, M.D.

Robert A. Egan, M.D.

Dr. Egan graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1993. He completed his neurology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in 1997, vascular neurology fellowship at OHSU in 1998, and neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, MA in 1999. He is Board Certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. Dr. Egan joined Oregon Neurology in 2013. He enjoys time with his three children, movies, and working on his family's vineyard.

Dr. Jamison, a native Oregonian, graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in 1991, and completed his residency in 1995 at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine. He has been practicing with Oregon Neurology since 1995 and is Board Certified in Neurology. Dr. Jamison and his wife live in Portland with their three children.

Heidi Loganbill, M.D.

Heidi Loganbill, M.D.

Dr. Loganbill received her M.D. from Dartmouth Medical School in 1991. She did her internship, residency and fellowship at Duke University Medical Center from 1991 to 1996. She is Board Certified in Neurology, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Neuromuscular Medicine. Dr. Loganbill has been practicing neurology in the Salem area since 1996. Dr. Loganbill lives in Salem on a small farm called Poodletopia with her dogs, sheep and chickens.

Thomas A. Phipps, M.D.

Thomas A. Phipps, M.D.

Dr. Phipps graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in 1982 and Northwestern University Medical Center residency in 1986. He is Board Certified in Neurology and has been practicing with Oregon Neurology since 1986. His wife is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician in Portland. They live in West Linn and have had three children.

Michael P. Sluss, M.D., M.P.H.

Michael P. Sluss, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Sluss graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 1976 and completed his neurology residency in 1980 at the University of Minnesota. He is Board Certified in Neurology and also is Board Certified in the subspecialty of Vascular Neurology. He received his MPH (with emphasis on preventive medicine) from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has also been certified in Clinical Neurophysiology and in Tropical Medicine. Dr. Sluss joined Oregon Neurology in 2005. He and his wife live in Wilsonville and have had three children.
